We have been badger watching since the mid 1990's and have gained a lot of experience in that time......... Over the years we have had a few indifferent tries with the camera at several setts, but its always been an anxious trade off between wanting to get photos and not wanting to upset or scare the badgers to the point where they won't let us watch them.........

The sett we feed and watch now is a 'dream' within spitting distance of the road so we don't worry about our car being taken or broken into while we are out half the night.......... Its such a gift of a sett that neither of us want to do anything to spoil our watching chances......

Pauline say's ......... 'due to other pressures we have only managed one visit this year with the cameras. Ian has tried in the past with the old slide cameras and flash but the results were never up to much. Now we have big lenses, esp the 400 which works well in low light conditions and has removed the need for full flash, I am more than pleased with these results, though there is still room for improvement!'............
