Watching where you are walking when out birding is what usually leads folks to an interest in what is growing out of the ground..........

Not as much patience required for plant photography but it definitely requires a supple body as most plants look better when photographed at eye-level.

Ian says: 'never mind eye level - Pauline is always looking for an excuse to lie down!'

The good point to this kind of macro photography is that you can spend time over it - the subject isn't going to take flight when you mess and fuss around it looking for its best side!!
